Variety: same percentage of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Sirah, Alicante Bouschets

Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature, intense extraction with frequent pump-overs and long maceration. Grapes are vinified separately.

Maturation: 3 years in new 225 It and 350 It French oak barrels

Aging: 12 months in heavy Bordeaux bottles

Harvest method: manual

Altitude: 350 – 400 m.a.s.l.

Type of soil: sandy loam and clay loam with presence of rock fragments

Plant density: 5,000 vines per hectare
